Recent ongoing Projects

2024 to present

Innovation SL is currently incubating five businesses to support formalizing the informal sector by leveraging user-friendly digital platforms and tools. This initiative aims to streamline business operations, improve financial management, and enhance market access for small and informal enterprises. By integrating digital solutions, Innovation SL is helping businesses transition from informal structures to legally recognized entities, enabling them to access funding opportunities, regulatory benefits, and scalable growth pathways. Through tailored mentorship, capacity-building programs, and technological support, Innovation SL is driving digital transformation, fostering economic inclusion, and strengthening Sierra Leone’s entrepreneurial landscape.
Innovation SL plays a key role in the Sierra Leone Education in Entrepreneurial Pedagogy & Skills (SLEEK) project, an Erasmus+ initiative aimed at enhancing entrepreneurship education and job creation. As an Entrepreneurship Support Organization, Innovation SL collaborates with local and international partners to develop a comprehensive entrepreneurship curriculum, establish an Entrepreneurship Academy, and provide training to educators. The project focuses on bridging the gap between academia and industry while empowering youth and women entrepreneurs with essential business skills. Through these efforts, Innovation SL contributes to strengthening Sierra Leone’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, fostering job creation, and promoting sustainable economic growth.
